The hothouse exhibition is the highlight of the gardens. The first room is filled with evergreens and members of the palm family. The second room is given over to tropical aquatic plants, including water lilies and flowering taros. The third room displays commercial plants and their breeding and propagation. Here there are specimens of the triple-leaved rubber plant, cocoa and coffee trees and the sugar producing sweet-leaved chrysanthemum which has been introduced into China from abroad.

With its handsome buildings, pretty scenery and tumultuous history, the Summer Palace (颐和园) is a wonderful place to explore. It's the official private gardens before.

Temple of Heaven(天坛)served Ming and Qing dynasty emperors as vast sacred space to perform ceremonial rites on behalf of the Chinese nation. Prior to the winter solstice, the emperor would lead a solemn procession, which commoners were forbidden to witness, from the Forbidden City to the Temple of Heaven.

Tian An Men Square is the spiritual heart of the world's most populous country. It earned this distinction by serving as the stage for momentous historical events, like demonstrations on May 4th 1999, that inspired young Chinese to fight imperialists and warlords, and build a strong independent country. Among those swept up in the ferment of the "May Fourth Movement" was Mao Zedong who would help found the communist Party of China two years later.

A really fittingly awe-inspiring sight. Along with the Great Wall, Forbidden City is alos a must-see attraction in your China Travel. It is the abode of 24 Ming and Qing emperors of the Celestial Empire. Enclosed behind its moat and 9.9m high wall are 980 buildings, vase courtyards and long corridors that cccupy a total area of 720,000 square meters.

The great wall of China is the honour of China. It is full of highlight areas. The following three areas are in Beijing municipality. They are regularly visited by tourists. 1. "North Pass" of Juyongguan pass, known as the Badaling(八达岭). You will find many guards in this section. It is use to protect Chinese land in the past.Made of stone and bricks from the hills, this portion of the Great Wall is 7.8 meters (25.6 ft) high and 5 meters (16.4 ft) wide. 2. One of the most egregious sections of the Ming Great Wall is where it climbs extremely steep slopes. It runs 11 kilometers (7 mi) long, ranges from 5 to 8 meters (16–26 ft) in height, and 6 meters (19.7 ft) across the bottom, narrowing up to 5 meters (16.4 ft) across the top. Wangjinglou is one of Jinshanling's 67 watchtowers, 980 meters (3,215 ft) above sea level. 3. South East of Jinshanling, is the Mutianyu Great Wall which winds along lofty, cragged mountains from the southeast to the northwest for approximately 2.25 kilometers (about 1.3 miles). It is connected with Juyongguan Pass to the west and Gubeikou to the east.
